What It Takes to Operate in the Supernatural Realm

One interesting benefit of becoming a child of God is geining access into the realm of the ultimate power.
This power is compulsory for every Christian because of what it stands to accomplish and demolish in such life.

It is David Oyedepo who often say, “Life is warfare and not fanfare. Life is a season and when you miss your season, you loose your harvest. Nothing about life is magical but practical.
God’s power is tapped in the supernatural realm to enable his people erupt into another realm of greatness, holiness and righteousness.

What You Need to Operate in the Supernatural Realm

a.                 Consciousness of Your Root

It takes the consciousness of your roots to manifest your fruits. When you don’t know your roots, you’ve already lost your fruits. The fundamental discovery and understanding of your roots guarantees your fruits. You never find a tree bearing fruit without a root. You can’t manifest in the supernatural realm without an understanding of your supernatural roots.
The root of every child of God is in the spiritual realm. You are a spirit being although you put on the physical body. Read John 4:24; 3:3-6.

Every child of God undergoes two types of birth-physical and spiritual. Our parents give birth to us through physical process while we undergo the Spirit birth when we surrender to be born again through the water of baptism. Jesus confirmed this reality when he said, “that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

Until you come to terms with your divine status, you will be operating only in the flesh because you cannot connect to the realm of the Spirit.
Once you become born by the Spirit of God, you receive the power of supernatural command and access to the blessings in heavenly places.
You must have the consciousness of your divine superiority.
Every child of God operates from above and is above all including the devil and demons-1 Peter 5:8.
You possess commands, power and authority that intimidate the devil, demons and negative energy. You are not just a member of the Church but of a Spirit family. You cannot be limited like every other human being.

b.                 Trace Your Supernatural Root

It is the consciousness of where you stand that determines what you can dare. You are always careful when you are standing on a faulty foundation. There are things you can’t dare with the power of the flesh. There rivers and seas you can’t cross and powers you can’t dare.
The sons of Sceva understood this reality when they tried to cast out demon in the possessed person with the Name of Jesus Christ. They were attacked and heavily injured because the demon couldn’t see the power of God in them. It is only when you trace your supernatural root that you turn issues of concern in your life to issues of command.

c.                 You must have the mind of Christ

The mind of Christ is the Word of God. Inside the mind of God lies the creative forces of heaven. See Genesis 41:38. It is the centre of supernatural creativity. You don’t have a natural mind but a supernatural mind. The day you surrendered to the Spirit birth was the day God transformed your mind from carnality to spirituality-Romans 12:1-2.
God’s Word must be part of you for you to operate in the realm of the Spirit. Notice that Jesus overcame the devil with just the Word of God-“It is written.” You need to discover specific Word commands for specific circumstances and needs. You need the right bullet for the right target.

d.                Recognize that You carry a Supernatural Presence

Living a hypocritical life is an enemy of the Spirit realm. You are not a child of God when you are in the church and a child of the devil when you in the world. The power of God is not seasonal but continuous. It follows you wherever you go because there is a constant battle over your life even when you are sleeping. It takes the man of the Spirit to understand these principles.
Whenever God lives you, you become hollow and unproductive. David overcame Saul because God was with him. The same is true for Joseph and Jesus Christ-Acts 10:38, Matthew 28:20.
Exercise your power at all times. Don’t ask God to do what he has given you power to do. Avoid acts that will quash God’s power in you.

When a student presents a legitimate bachelor’s degree in any field, that student is automatically placed in the graduate program. Students are discouraged from taking a second bachelor’s because of the level of work. By the time a bachelor’s degree is earned, the student should be ready to pursue work at another level, even if the first level is taken in non-religious disciplines.

10.  Can I transfer courses from another school?

Yes, NU will review and accept the transfer of credit that is deemed to be university level, subject to restrictions related to the degree completion plan. No, you only need to submit a transcript for the highest degree you hold.

 Degree Programs

15.  What is the first course that I need to take? Is there any order or priority in taking courses?

Students are encouraged to begin with BRS16.6, A Search for Spirituality. Internet students are not bound to any order and may pursue courses at discretion. However, to receive credit toward academic awards, all course requirements must be met. See "Academics" for degree requirements.

16.  Is there a time limit for reading course material?

Students are allowed to complete courses at their own pace with the understanding that once enrolled in any particular class, they should complete it with in a twelve month period. A student is unenrolled automatically from any class in which there is no activity for ninety days.  A student is no longer considered to have "active" status if there is no activity for twelve months.
17.  Do you have any suggestions for studying?

Personal discipline is very important. We recommend that a student consider the time he/she is able to give to study, establish a routine schedule, and stick to it. For example, if you can complete a module in a week, then map out the course for five weeks. If you have more or less time to devote to study, then make your schedule realistic. The schedule will help you determine when to take that first exam.

Exams

18.  How does the online exam system work?

The exam link is under each Module on the course menu. The time limit is stated on your exam. Exams consist of a set of multiple choice questions. When completed, review your answers and click  “submit all and finish.” Your exam grade will be posted on your user report within six (6) hours of taking the exam. If your score is below 70, you should plan to re-take the exam after more study. If your score is above 70, you may proceed to Module two.

19.  Is there a time limit for taking exams?

There is a time limit for each exam. The time limit is different for different exams and is stated at the top of your exam page. Students may take an exam 3 times to recieve a passing grade. However, the questions will be different with each test you take.
20.  If I am not able to take an online exam, is there any other way to take the exam?

Write the nature of your problem and send your request to studenthelp@nationsu.org. Be sure to give your name, student code, and the exam identifier noted just under the Module number on the course menu.

21.  Am I permitted to view my Bible or notes during exams?

Instructions regarding exams are given when you open an exam online. A few exams allow notes and Bibles but, as a general rule, you should not expect to be able to view sources when taking an exam.

22.  Where can I review all of my grades?

Grades can be viewed anytime by logging into "NU Courses" and clicking on "User Report". You will open a page that shows all of your grades for both completed courses and courses in progress. Click on "Transcript" at the far right of this page to view all  your completed courses, your transfer credits (if any), and your GPA.

If you take your exam online, the grades will be available for you to see online within six (6) hours.
23.  Is there any way to get the results and see the wrong questions that I answered?
Students cannot see what questions they answered correctly or incorrectly. They can see the overall exam grade within six hours of taking an exam.

24.  If I make less than 70 on one exam but pass the exams on the other modules, should I re-take the whole course?

NU requires that each module exam be passed with a minimum of 70% score. If you want the grade to be applied toward a degree, you should plan to re-take the exam after further study. Your grade will remain incomplete until you have passed the exam. But if you pass an exam with a score of 70 or more, you need not take the exam again to gain a higher score.

25. Why can I not retake an exam on which I scored 70 or above?

The minimum score to receive credit for an exam is 70 percent. The 70 or higher grade that a student receives will be the grade on the student's transcript. NU subscribes to the same standard as most educational institutions in that students cannot re-take exams to improve a score that is already passing.

Diploma

26. How will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas are issued after a student has met all the requirements for their degree program. Diplomas are mailed by post to the student at the address provided at registration, unless the student advises otherwise.

27. How will my diploma look?

Diplomas are printed in a landscape format, on quality paper, 8 ½ high x 11 inches wide.

28. How will my name appear on my diploma?

The name printed on the diploma will be the full name the student used to register, with the spelling and in the order given, unless the student requests otherwise.

The Supernatural Pattern for Becoming Born Again

 by Baruch Okpulor

Only those who have experienced God’s power of salvation have the power to grow and become like Jesus.
Therefore, to experience the birth of the Spirit, one needs to surrender to the steps of salvation including the process of baptism.
Jesus Christ re-emphasized this demand in the book of Mark 16:15-16 and Matthew 28:18-20.

He that believeth and is BAPTIZED shall be saved” Mark 16:16

The apostles who took after Jesus Christ in making disciples of God were commanded to baptize those who surrender for discipleship in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost Matthew 28:18-20.
This baptism which is immersion or burial in water symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ which the penitent sinner participates in. That why it is burial where there much water.
As the individual is buried inside the water, he takes part in the death of Christ (Romans 6:1-4). The first set of Christians fulfilled this condition as seen in Acts 2:36-47.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION OF YOUR SINS, and ye shall receive the GIFT of the HOLY SPIRIT. Then they that gladly received the Word of God were baptized…..

The individual who has resolved to be enlisted as a disciple of the Lord receives two great gifts at the time of baptism.
One of them is the cleansing and forgiveness of all the sins he has committed in his life and the second is receiving the indwelling Spirit of God as a seal and Witness that such a fellow has become a child of God. At this level, the Spirit begins to empower you to overcome those bad habits and behaviour you were unable to overcome.

In summary, an intending disciple becomes one by hearing the Word of God, believing it and in Jesus Christ, repenting of his past sins, confessing his faith in Christ and yielding to the water of baptism.

Now, you have known the first step to take for the acquisition of supernatural privileges and power to break the power of sin over your life and enthrone freedom. You cannot do it by yourself. You need Jesus today as he says, “I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” Revelation 3:20

As you accept this divine invitation of salvation today, you’re accepting the life of Jesus Himself and His nature into you.
Seek for the Church of Christ near you and declare for God today for eternity is just a step away.

The Supernatural Demands of Becoming a Fellow Heir with Jesus

by Baruch Okpulor

You cannot be the Custodian of God’s power and blessings until you become the evidence of his discipleship” Baruch Okpulor, Author of Breaking the Hold of Self-Slavery.

To become a fellow heir with Jesus, without any conflict of principle and contradiction, and for God not to be accused of favouritism, it is required that the individual who desires this divine honour fulfill some fundamental divine requirements.
Until these requirements are met, he cannot be known and addressed by heaven as a Christian or born again.
He would be denied the power to grow from childishness to that of spirituality, from the shore of carnality to that of spirituality. He cannot become like Jesus Christ, the Master Trainer.

Discipleship is a process whereby a Christian who has voluntarily surrendered himself or herself to the Lord Jesus Christ is being made to become like his Master, Jesus, by various exposures, activities, and discipline, administered by the leadership and determination of the Lord Himself.

Therefore, the first step in becoming a disciple is to become a Christian or born again.

Take a deep breath on this:

Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily I say unto you, except a man be born again, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God……
Except a man be born of WATER and the SPIRIT, he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of the SPIRIT is spirit” (John 3:3-6)

Jesus Christ in this passage revealed the two aspects of birth-natural and spiritual. The pattern of creation and the divine purpose of redemption is that every individual should undergo both aspects of birth. One is temporal as it terminates on this earth while the spiritual birth is eternal as it secures eternity with God for the individual. That’s why the apostles reminded us that flesh and blood (through parental conception and birth) cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15:50)

Basically, the natural man doesn’t receive the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him, neither can he know them because they are spiritually distinguished (1 Corinthians 2:14)

These passages confirm the reality that except a person is born a new by the Spirit of the Most High God, he has no potential and power to become like Jesus and share in the blessings in the heavenly places.
A baby dog cannot grow to become a tiger no matter the training, type of food given to her or exposure except she is born by a tiger.
Even if all the principles of a Christian or discipleship are applied, a sinner who has not repented cannot grow to become a saint by training. He has to be born anew to receive the Holy Spirit of God who empowers him and his spiritual eyes to perceive, see, understand and apply the supernatural attributes of discipleship.
It is at this level that he would possess the ability to submit to God’s Word and please Him.

Discover yourself today by discovering your Creator. Get into His presence today by becoming a member of the body of Christ. Fellowship with the Church of Christ around you.
